The Economization of the Knowledge Society

How much economics does the knowledge society need, how much can it stand?
On the first day, several keynote speeches will provide an introduction to the topic. In the afternoon, individual papers and discussions will deal with the effects of marketization on the functions of the knowledge society.
In the morning of the second day, two position papers will be held with a subsequent panel discussion in the course of which the participants shall develop and clarify the different poles relating to the topic. Individual papers and discussions in the afternoon will deal with the effects of marketization on institutions of the knowledge society.
The third day will initially investigate the situation of economy and society, before a concluding discussion will deal with the controversity of economics and morality in elite sports.
