This colloquium takes places weekly within the context of the Collaborative Research Centre (SFB) 1199 "Processes of Spatialization under the Global Condition".

In the winter semester 2016/17, researchers from the 17 subprojects will approach the analysis of spatial formats and spatial orders from a variety disciplinary backgrounds and will open the room for discussing with other scholars and students their preliminary investigations.

Furthermore, we will host two special sessions with Prof. Andreas Pott, from the University of Osnabrück (Germany), and Prof. Anthony Hopkins, from the University of Cambridge (UK), that will revolve around the connections between migration and spatialization as well as globalization and decolonization, respectively.
