Statistical Analysis of Visitor Access Data
This website uses the open-source software Piwik to perform statistical analysis of visitor access data. For this purpose, the software uses what are known as “session cookies”. These are text files that are temporarily stored on your computer. As soon as you close your web browser, these cookies will be deleted. If your browser supports “Do Not Track” (DNT) technology and you have activated the DNT option, Piwik will automatically ignore your access data.
The access data collected will not be disclosed to any third party. It will be transferred to the Piwik server at the University Computer Centre.
Piwik is configurated in accordance with the recommendations of the Independent Centre for Privacy Protection in Germany (Unabhängiges Landeszentrum für Datenschutz – ULD) and complies with the applicable data protection regulations. IP addresses are anonymised before being stored: the last two tuples of the IP address are not saved (e.g. 18.104.22.168 is saved as 22.214.171.124). This ensures that the accessing network can be identified, but not the individual computer.
By using this website, you express your consent to the processing of data collected in the manner and for the purposes described above.
