    Language requirements

    Since most study programmes at Leipzig University are taught in German, you are required to speak and understand German at least at level B1 CEFR (B2 is recommended). For international study programmes please check here for the language of tuition.

    For Erasmus+ students from European universities:
    Online Linguistic Support OLS

    Erasmus+ students from European universities may benefit from the Online Linguistic Support (OLS). This platform offers language assessment tests. In additon, you can follow a language course given that your home university provides you with a licence.
