Professional university degree, with economic and socio-scientific content, if possible Bachelor of Science in geography or equivalent

Description

In particular, this master programme aims to enable students to grasp theories and concepts, structural patterns and interactive systems in economic and social geography, together with space-relevant networks and interactions in different dimensions, and to enable them to analyse the appropriate development processes. A special emphasis is communication of the ability to apply theory-based knowledge to application-oriented issues and problems.

The foci of the programme are structures and development of municipal areas from a general geographic perspective, and cities and regions in Central and Eastern Europe from a regional geographic perspective.
