Requirements

There will be no enrolment for the M.A. programme for the 2017/2018 winter semester.

For the master programme: bachelor degree in East Slavic Studies or a teaching qualification for high school/middle school with Russian as the core subject or a comparable study programme with East Slavic as the major focus or evidence of successfully completing East Slavic modules amounting to 60 credits as part of a bachelor degree already passed or being taken or a proven elective area in which modules amounting to 40 credits will be allocated in the fields of linguistics, literature and/or cultural history, aptitude test

Description

Depending on the degree taken, the programme comprises subjects from Eastern Slavic linguistics, literature and culture and acquisition of linguistic ability in Russian and/or Ukraine and/or Belarusian. Essential programme components are also key profession-oriented qualifications and optional interdisciplinary modules. A stay of some length in the relevant language area is strongly recommended.
