Wissenschaftler der Universität Leipzig arbeiteten im Jahre
2002 an 43 von der Europäischen Union geförderten Forschungsprojekten.
Davon befinden sich 5 Projekte an den geistes- und sozialwissenschaftlichen
Fakultäten, 8 Projekte an der Medizinischen Fakultät /
Universitätsklinikum und 30 Projekte an den mathematisch-naturwissenschaftlichen
Fakultäten.
Am 27. Juni 2002 wurde das 6. Forschungsrahmenprogramm vom Rat
der Europäischen Union und dem Europäischen Parlament
für den Zeitraum 2002 bis 2006 verabschiedet. Zu den neuen
Durchführungsformen und Instrumenten gehört auch die Möglichkeit
zur Abgabe von Interessenbekundungen (EoI). Wissenschaftler der
Universität Leipzig haben im Juni 2002 acht Interessenbekundungen
abgegeben.
