Research Activities at the Centre
The aim behind the establishment of the Centre for Magnetic Resonance (Magnet-Resonanz-Zentrum, MRZ) in 2004 was to intensify the broad application of magnet resonance techniques in biology, chemistry, medicine, physics, and veterinary medicine in order to stimulate innovative and fundamental research. The activities cover life sciences including biochemistry, molecular biology, biophysics, medical diagnostics, and materials sciences including engineering. Current research work in magnetic resonance methodology is related to the analysis of the structure of materials, the dynamics in these materials and to magnetic resonance imaging.
