Funding under Erasmus Mundus II |
|
In April 2009, 36 Master’s courses of the first Erasmus Mundus generation applied for further funding under the Erasmus Mundus II Programme. The European Commission selected out of these applications 19 programmes one of it was the Master’s course “Global Studies – A European Perspective”. Starting with next year there will be introduced some changes in the Erasmus Mundus scholarship scheme. A major one is the offer of full-time grants for European students (category B scholarships). For the 2010-2012 generation 6 category B grants will be provided for students of the Global Studies programme as well as 8 scholarships for non-EU students and 2 grants dedicated for nationals from the Western Balkans and Turkey. Also the composition of the EMGS consortium will change. Starting with 2010 Roskilde University (Denmark), Fudan University (China) and Jawaharlal Nehru University (India) will be part of the consortium. |
