Alumni co-ordinator and Alumni meeting |
|
In order to further professionalise the alumni work of the Master’s course in Global Studies an Alumni co-ordinator has been engaged at the beginning of this year. The co-ordinator himself graduated from the programme in fall 2009 and is thus completely familiar with the programme as well as the expectations towards a satisfying alumni work. Ian is responsible for providing all alumni and graduate students with information on job- and phd-opportunities as well as on conferences related to the field of Global Studies. He is also responsible for issuing the Global Studies Newsletter. Another major task will be the organisation of the second Global Studies alumni meeting that is envisaged to take place at the end of November 2010 in Vienna. You can contact Ian under: emgs.alumni[at]uni-leipzig.de. We wish him all the best for his tasks. |
