interDaF e. V. am Herder-Institut at the Universität Leipzig specialises in German as a Foreign Language.
Intensive German courses at various levels (A1 to C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference or Languages) form one of our main focuses. Furthermore we offer diverse international summer and winter language programmes combined with various cultural excursions and activities. Another major focus is the offer of further training courses for foreign teachers of German, such as our international vacation course for German teachers, trainee teachers and others registered in German studies.
We also organise course programmes according to individual needs and learning preferences.
Which Language Course is the right one for you?
- You want to study in Germany, but do not speak any German yet.
- You want to study in Germany and you have learned some German already. You still need to take a level C1 exam, e.g. the TestDaF or DSH exam.
- You want to effectively use the time between two terms for learning the German language and getting to know the city of Leipzig.
- You are going to study in Germany for one semester and you want to brush up your German language skills in a vacation course.
- You want to use your summer holiday to deepen your knowledge of German, to learn more about Germany and to meet people from various countries.
- You are a teacher of German and you want to work with colleagues in Germany. You want to discuss in German about the language and to update your knowledge about Germany. (more informtion in German)
