Collaboration with counterparts

Several members of the European research consortium have long and close collaborations with Brazil, Pernambuco and Recife, and can guarantee a fruitful collaboration with the Brazilian counterparts. Both universities and governmental structures kindly invited the consortium to carry out the project in Recife and offered all necessary information and facilities.

Three universities in Pernambuco (UFPE, Federal University of Pernambuco; UFRPE, Federal Rural University of Pernambuco and UPE, State University of Pernambuco), two city governments (Recife and Leipzig) and members of governmental organisations will be actively involved in all phases of the project. Single researchers from other Brazilian universities (e.g. USP-São Paulo) will also be involved.
