Data Entry

Different formatted, equally designed computer screens (forms) permit a fast and facile way of data acquisition into the structured tables. These forms are easily accessible by the lower left part of the Navigation Centre called Task Office. An interactive guide activated by touching the buttons with the mouse pointer, gives always information about the function behind.


	The forms displayed gives self explanatory texts which are commonly used by andrologists. Furthermore, the user is permanently guided by a legend display of each field. The general design contains two main areas: The head and the corpus. At the head navigation buttons are displayed. They manage closing the form, saving, deleting and adding of entered data as well as further events


	Protection against wrong data entry is performed by built-in type checks, range checks and uniqueness checks. To provide adaptability in context with constancy of data the concept of a self learning list (SLL) was developed. The SLL allows adaptation to special needs and maintains the constancy of entries.
