Kurzbeschreibung Dissertationsprojekt

Libya is a country with a infant economy and a weak competitiveness. Since the discovery of petrol in Libya the economy is addicted to the energy sector. Almost 95% of the GDP are originated from petrol for at least 30 years. Being aware of all these problems the government made efforts to support the non- energy sector. But all these programmes failed because of their difficulties to sustain on the local market.

During my research I want to observe the industrial sector analysing the development of technological capability. I want to set the characteristic of technological capability in the existing industrial sector. Developing the technological capability would lead to a increased competitiveness of Libyan SME´s.
