	Development of new polymeric biomaterials for in vitro and in vivo liver reconstruction - LIVEBIOMAT (EU-Project) (closed)
	ENDOSYS - Systems Biology of Hepatocyte Endocytosis: Within the Joint Research Project, the platform concept Endocytosis-Systems Biology (Cell Biology-Systems Biology successor project), the repolarization of primary murine hepatocytes in a collagen sandwich in vitro could be demonstrated over the course of 14 days. The mechanism of endocytosis is also to be investigated in these repolarized liver cells. The transfer of these results in mathematical models and simulation platforms should shed light on the relationship between endocytosis and signal transfer in hepatocytes and enable the forecast of endocytotic and signaling activities in hepatocytes.
