Welcome to the FOR748 website!
The Research Unit FOR 748 “Neuronal and glial P2 receptors - molecular basis and functional significance” is a joint research group by the Universität Leipzig (Faculty of Medicine and Centre for Biotechnology and Biomedicine), RWTH Aachen, the Max Planck-Institute for Experimental Medicine in Göttingen, the Max Delbrück Center for Molecular Medicine Berlin and the Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg.
The Research Unit currently consists of 8 submitted projects and 1 associated project (P4) which will submit the renewal at the end of 2010. We are now focused at three localities (Leipzig/Halle: 6 projects; Aachen 2 projects including the associated P11; Berlin: 1 project). The collaborative projects (P3, P11) in the present Research Unit constitute a link between the Aachen and Leipzig/Halle groups.
