Travelling from airport to the city center

Follow the Autobahn A14 in the direction Leipzig
Take the exit “Messegelände”
Follow “Maximillian-Allee”, then drive straightforward till the end of “Berliner Straße” (ca. 7 km), here turn left into “Gerberstraße”. Turn left into “Willy-Brandt-Platz” (Main station), continue driving, then turn right into “Georgiring” (“Innenstadtring”).

You can also use a bus to get from the airport to the main station.

Travelling from Main Station to the Institute

Coming from „Willy-Brandt-Platz“ turn right into “Georgi-Ring”.
Follow “Georgi-Ring” till “Augustusplatz”, then turn left into “Grimmaischer Steinweg”
Continue driving straightforward for ca. 2 km (Prager Straße) till “Ostplatz”, here turn right into “Johannisallee”. Among the street there are chargeable car parking places. Free car parking is possible at “Linnestraße”.

Travelling by public transportation

Coming from the Main Station get the tram 16 (direction Lößnig) to the stop “Johannisallee”
Go right and cross the traffic lights (Johannisallee). Follow the street for ca. 300m.
