Lab
In our lab, we can create auditory and visual stimuli to be run in real-time under a wide variety of experimental protocols. Measurement of sound pressure level, audiometrics, registration of behavioral and multi-channel EEG data are at our disposal to address questions in auditory and visual information processing, mainly focussing on attention and working memory (cf. research).
The laboratory equipment (hard- and software, cf. equipment) has been selected to achieve this goal. Furthermore, efforts have been made to keep our equipment as compatible as possible to that of the Max Planck Institute in Cognitive Neuroscience to facilitate cooperation, teaching, training of graduate students and post-docs as well as the exchange of visiting scholars.
