The Centre for Area Studies (CAS) currently employs an international group of 10 postdoctoral researchers. Under the 2010-2013 research programme “Cultural Encounters and Political Orders in a Global Age,” the undertaken research projects examine both contemporary and historical issues, trends, and phenomena relating to and transversing different regions of the world.
