Research
The research projects were partly initialized until september 30th, 2002 at the Fraunhofer Institute of Biomedical Engineering (IBMT) St. Ingbert in the former department of Biohybrid Systems headed by Prof. Dr. Andrea A. Robitzki. Since october 1st, 2002 new research and developmental projects were established at the Biotechnological-Biomedical Center (BBZ) and the Institue of Biochemistry in collaboration with national and international industrial partners. According to demands on the industrial approach and application in the biotechnological and pharmaceutical market, two innovative R&D fields were installed at the Division of Molecular biological-biochemical Processing Technology at BBZ:
Biotechnological processing technology
- Bioelectronic assays
- Electrophysiology and Patch-Clamp on MEA
- Optical Sensors
- Biotechnological Microultrasonic
- Molecul Shuttle Systems
- Bioreactors
Cell and tissue modelling
- Molecular diagonstics
- Toxicity Testing ISO-Norm
- Cell based assays
- Biotechnological Microultrasonic
- Molecul Shuttle Systems
- Bioreactors
