Lecture RoomsOn Thursday and Friday all conference rooms are located in the buildung “Staedtisches Kaufhaus” Universitaetsstrasse 16. The conference opening, all plenary talks as well as the official reception take place in lecture hall 02-07. On Saturday the congress takes place in the humanities buildung “Geisteswissenschafltiches Zentrum (GWZ)” in Beethovenstrasse 15. All plenary talks are held in lecture hall 2010, the poster session takes place in the building's entrance hall. Public TransportIf you get to the conference venue by car, you can put it in one of several multi-storey car parks in the city centre. However, we recommend the use of public transport. The “Staedtisches Kaufhaus” is located in the historical city centre near the tram stops “Augustusplatz” (tram lines 4, 7, 8, 10, 11, 12, 15, 16) and “Wilhelm-Leuschner-Platz” (tram lines 2, 8, 9, 10, 11). You can get to the “GWZ” in Beethovenstrasse by tram (2, 8, 9), stop “Neues Rathaus”. Then cross the street and turn right after passing the huge building of the “Bundesverwaltungsgericht” (Federal Administrative Court of Germany). It is also possible to take the bus line 89 departing opposite the main station on the corner of Goethestr. and Richard-Wagner-Str. (if you get out of the station, cross the street, hold left, look for parking tourist coaches and Leipzig information centre; you will find the bus stop nearby). Get off the bus at the stop “Mozartstrasse” (10 minutes drive). After leaving the bus, go back and turn right at the next corner (2 minutes walk). To go back to the station, you use the bus stop at the corner Mozartstrasse and Grassistrasse. The bus leaves every 15 minutes. Tickets: There are single tickets (Einzelfahrkarte), day tickets (Tageskarte) and 4-trips-in-one-ticket (4-Fahrten-Karte). Day tickets allow free travel for a whole day and are the best choice if you take more than three trips per day. 4-Fahrten-Karte can be used for 4 trips over several days and thus is a good alternative. There are two options for single tickets (Einzelfahrkarte): short trip tickets (Kurzstrecke) (4 stops) are 1,40 €, and single tickets for more than 4 stops are 2 €. For further information concerning public transport, please check Leipzig's public transport website (www.lvb.de) or visit the 'LVB' information centre opposite the central station. The conference buildings are situated in walking distance from the main station of Leipzig:
