Geb. in Nyíregyháza, Ungarn. 1987–93 Studium der Ästhetik und Vergleichenden Literaturwissenschaften an der Eötvos Lorand Universität, Budapest (Schwerpunkt: Schnittpunkte des Dramas, darstellender und bildender Künste). 1998–2002 wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin an Artpool Művészetkutató Központ, Budapest (Artpool Kunstforschungszentrum; Projekt: "Geschichte und Dokumentation von Happenings, Aktionskunst and Performances in Ungarn, 1960–80s"). 2001–02/08 Studium (MA und PhD) der Geschlechterstudien an der Central European University, Budapest, und Promotion (2009) zum Thema "Gendered Artistic Positions and Social Voices: Politics, Cinema and the Visual Arts in State-socialist and Post-socialist Hungary". 2003–06 Redakteurin von Praesens: Central European Contemporary Art Review. Seit 2006 eigenständige kuratorische Projekte; zuletzt (2008–10) die forschungsbasierte, internationale Ausstellung Agents and Provocateurs. 2009–2010 Lehre an der Central European University und Magyar Képzőművészeti Egyetem (Universität der Bildenden Künste), Budapest. Juli 2010: Gastwissenschaftlerin an der School of the Art Institute Chicago, USA, im Rahmen des 4th Stone Summer Theory Institute. Seit Februar 2011 Mitarbeiterin in der GWZO-Projektgruppe Ostmitteleuropa Transnational II.
