- working and using the participants’ mother tongue as the most effective form of communication in teaching and for personal encounters
- studying without any financial worries due to the generous monthly allowance sponsored by the Foreign Office
- in the relatively short time of 5 months, participants get a profound education and can go back to their home countries very soon
- Graduates of our courses are highly flexible: they are capable of working at all levels from beginners’ training to high-performance training in various fields of sport.
- The coaching courses in Leipzig, with the objective ”help people help themselves“, enable our graduates to be multipliers of knowledge so as to conduct courses in their home countries for other coaches and instructors.
... What do your classes look like? Actually, we have “two teachers“: a German-speaking teacher on the one hand, and, on the other hand, a competent and experienced interpreter for the respective course language who both translate classroom communication (including methodological remarks and explanations in practice sessions) and prepare written teaching material.
... Trips to national or international competitions of the respective event are part of the course programme and are discussed and analysed in classes.
... At the end of the course, on having passed all examinations successfully, participants receive a certificate of the University of Leipzig. In case of very good results, graduates also get a recommendation from the German sport association for the association in their home country to grant them with an appropriate coaching licence.
... and after classes and outside the gym? During the course, all students of our courses have a chance to participate in various sporting and cultural activities.
- a trip to the capital city Berlin
- a sports festival with all participants of our coaching courses
- (courses in winter terms): a Christmas party with all participants
Of course, our students can also take advantage of activities and programmes offered by the University of Leipzig and the city of Leipzig in order to spend their leisure time during their stay well.
