9^th IRTG Workshop

International Research Training Group
"Diffusion in Porous Materials"

invites to participate in the

9^th IRTG Workshop

which takes place on the
4^th to 6^th of February 2009 in Leipzig.





Scope: The workshop will consist of PhD training courses to the topics (I) diffusion studies by scattering methods (H. Jobic, B. Radke) (II) synthesis and characterization of nanoporous carbon materials (F. Rodriguez-Reinoso, L. Lefferts) and (III) NMR porosimetry and relaxometry (P. Galvosas, F. Stallmach). Additionally, PhD student are asked to present their research work.

The workshop will close on 6^th February afternoon with a a colloquium honouring Jörg Kärger on the occasion of his 65^th birthday and a joint dinner in the Restaurant "Bayrischer Bahnhof".

Registration (deadline 6^th January 2009): Please register by sending an e-mail to Katrin Kunze (kkunze@physik.uni-leipzig.de) and indicate if

you wish to give a short presentation of your PhD project

you need a hotel reservation

you participate in the colloquium and the dinner on 6^th February.
