On Monday May 30th 2011 the winner of the annual Paul-Walden-Award Prof. Dr. Welton will be at the Department of Chemistry and Mineralogy of the University of Leipzig.

Beginning of the event is 15:00 in the main auditorium in the new chemistry (Johannisalle 29, right hand side of the main entrance).

Monday the 30th of May 2011 (15:00 - 17:00)
The venue is the big lecture hall in the new building of the chemistry department (University of Leipzig).

By train:


To the Institute: From Leipzig main station you have to take the Tram 16 in direction Lößnig. (Tram=subway)
Please take off the Tram at the stop called Johannisalle (Ticket pricing = Kurzstrecke). To the left, on the opposing street side you will see the Institute of chemistry.

To the "Hotel am Bayrischen Platz": From Leipzig main station you have to take the Tram 16 in direction Lößnig. (Tram=subway)
Please leave the Tram at the stop called "Bayrischer Platz" (Ticket pricing = Kurzstrecke). On the opposing side of the crossing you will see the "Hotel am bayrischen Platz".
To get to the Institute of chemistry you have two options. First option is you take the Tram 16 to Lößnig or the Tram 2 in direction Naunhofer Str. and drive one station. Alternatively you just follow the Tram in the Phillip-Rosenthal-Straße and walk to the Institute (ca. 200m).

By Car:


The Institute of chemistry is in the Johannisallee 29 in 04103 Leipzig. Please use the parking site of the Hotel or the Linnéstraße. If you have no navigation system available you can follow the link below the map. There we have marked all important places for you.
