Zum Kongress, der von der Bundesvereinigung Bibliothek & Information Deutschland (BID) organisiert wird, werden rund 3.000 Bibliothekare und Informationsspezialisten erwartet. Die Kongressveranstaltungen und die Ausstellerstände sind dabei in bewährter Weise kompakt im Congress Center Leipzig auf dem Messegelände Leipzig platziert.

Zur vergangenen Firmenausstellung 2010 präsentierten 140 Aussteller aus 13 Ländern auf rund 2.000 m² Produkte und Dienstleistungen rund um die Bibliotheks- und Informationsbranche. Darüber hinaus konnten die Kongressteilnehmer, neben dem umfangreichen Kongressprogramm, auch die rund 30 Firmenvorträge der Aussteller zur Information über Projekte und Neuheiten nutzen.

Organised by the Bundesvereinigung Bibliothek & Information Deutschland (BID), the congress expects to welcome around 3,000 librarians and information specialists. The congress events and exhibitor stands will once again be placed in their compact form at the Congress Center Leipzig on the Leipzig exhibition centre site.

The business exhibition of 2010 saw 140 exhibitors from 13 countries present products and services relating to the library and information sector on a floor space of around 2,000 m². In addition, as well as the extensive congress programme, congress participants could also use the approximately 30 corporate presentations of the exhibitors to obtain information about projects and new developments.
