Who am I ???
I am a Ph.D student at Group Hofmann(Biophyscial Chemistry), University of Leipzig, Leipzig, Germany. Currently, pursing my research in the field of computational chemistry within the project of “Protein-Zustände mit zellbiologischer und medizinischer Relevanz” (Variation in Protein Conformation: Cellbiological and Pathological Relevance), a Sonderforschungsbereich project (SFB 610), funded by the German Research Council.
I worked for Research and Development centre of Orchid Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Ltd., (now called as Orchid Research Laboratories Limited) for two years. As a bioinformaticist with the New Drug Discovery and Biotechnology team, responsible for the analysis of molecules in different therapeutic groups and protein engineering of enzymes. Also employed as a Programmer for Indo Technologies and involved in web technologies. These include design and development of various web pages and portals, implementation, managment and testing proprietary application systems for complex business environments.
My interests include management, sports, travelling, reading and listening to music and of course my research. I believe that the essential ingredients of the life are risk, thrill and fun.
