The DFG Collaborative Research Center 1423 "Structural Dynamics of GPCR Activation and Signal Transduction" will organize the 1st International Symposium at the Leipzig University from September 26-29, 2022.
The investigation of GPCR receptor families with their endogenous ligands as well as other clinically relevant compounds is a focus of the Collaborative Research Center 1423 "Structural Dynamics of GPCR Activation and Signal Transduction" coordinated at the University of Leipzig. The SFB 1423 is a four-year research network funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG), comprises 19 subprojects in which four institutions are involved: Leipzig University, Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg, Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin and the Max Delbrück Center for Molecular Medicine. Researchers from biochemical, biomedical, and computational backgrounds are collaborating across the boundaries of their respective institutions and disciplines to gain a comprehensive understanding of the effects of structural dynamics on the function of G protein-coupled receptors.
The 1st International Symposium with internationally renowned guest speakers will be held at the Leipzig University Campus from September 26-29, 2022. Numerous national and international participants are expected.
