On July 14, 2021, the best Saxon start-up ideas, transfer projects and innovations were awarded the State Prizes for Entrepreneurship, Transfer and Innovation. An exciting supporting program with impulses, networking, interactive online exhibition as well as satellite events completed the ceremony.

In addition, the winner of the idea competition “Innovationszentren der ZUKUNFT” was announced by the Saxon State Ministry of Economics, Labor and Transport. The competition aims to identify and strengthen new types of cooperation networks between innovation centers and local industry.

We sincerely congratulate the winning team of Thilo Egenberger and Julia Wolff (Egenberger Lebensmittel GmbH) with their project supported by our start-up initiative SMILE at the International SEPT Competence Center of Leipzig University: RegioKüche - Innovation Laboratory for Small and Food Processing Industry.
