You should have developed basic ideas and research questions for your proposal.
Number of Participants
The workshop will interactively work out important elements for writing a successful DFG proposal. The following content will be covered: DFG funding opportunities; structure of a research proposal; important and necessary documents; criteria of the reviewers and joint preparation of an example for your DFG proposal. During the workshop, a DFG research grant proposal will be discussed point by point, accompanied by practical exercises with special focus on objectives, work programme and finances. In the interactive part of the workshop you will be asked to design and present your project ideas for a proposal.
Notes for participants: Prior to the workshop, please send an email to barbara.weiner(at)zv.uni-leipzig.de saying in which kind of DFG program you are interested and what your special questions are.
As the workshop mainly addresses (future) staff of Leipzig University, external participants will be waitlisted and informed one week before the workshop whether their participation is possible.
