Abstract

Anne Köllner is a scientific assistant at the Institute for Geography, Universität Leipzig. After getting a diploma in journalism and geography in 2013, she has been working at the Institute of Geography from 2014 on and successfully completed her doctoral degree in 2023 on the topic of "Unauthorized Appropriations of Public Urban Space: Genesis, Meanings, and Potentials in the Post-Political City". Her research interests include post-political and neoliberal cities, theory of practices, walking interview techniques, and the documentary methods. Within this context, Anne Köllner extensively explores methodological issues.

In addition to her research work, Anne Köllner offers courses in the Bachelor of Science in Geography program, including the modules "Basics of Economic and Social Geography I and II".
