Abstract

I am currently working at the Leipzig Institute for Meteorology, Leipzig University, Dept. of Physics and Earth Sciences. I lead the development of methods for tracking clouds and cloud fields in MSG-SEVIRI imaging. These tools will be used to study aerosol effects on clouds by linking satellite observations from geostationary and polar-orbiting platforms.
