Abstract
Fabian Michl joined the law faculty as an Assistant Professor (tenure track) for Public Law and the Law of Politics in 2021. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Regensburg and holds a master's degree in History and Philosophy of Law from the University of Edinburgh. In 2017, he was awarded a Doctor of Laws by Regensburg Law Faculty on the basis of the thesis "EU Fundamental Rights at the Hands of the Legislator". The same year, he became a senior researcher at the law faculty of the University of Muenster where he took up a Post Doc project ("Habilitation") in constitutional law. In his research, he focusses on German and European constitutional law, constitutional theory, and contemporary legal history.
