Supporting talented students at regular schools, creating lessons for gifted students as well as school development are major interests of research.

Carola de Groote teaches the modules 1 and 2 in the educational studies.

Students are introduced to pedagogy and general didactics and learn to see school from a practical and scientific perspective.

  • School as a Research Field and a Setting for Practical Training

    In this module of educational studies students get to know procedures to describe and analyse lessons according to general didactic points of view.

    They work on how to give and reflect lessons and gain a reflexive position towards their (new) role as a teacher and their choice of career.
