What is the SoDoc Workshop?

The SoDoc is an annual workshop of the Social Psychology Section of the German Psychological Society (DGPs) for social psychological PhD-students. It aims to provide an opportunity to PhD-Students, to receive valuable feedback to their research projects by fellow graduates and experts in their research area. Moreover, the SoDoc provides a platform to create research networks between graduates.

We will invite four expert teachers each guiding a group of ten graduates in their group sessions. The experts will present and discuss their own research in a Keynote talk. However, the main focus of the workshops is on the discussion of the research projects of the PhD-Students. To provide enough time to discuss each project properly the number of participants has to be limited to 40 people.

In addition to the sessions we will provide plenty of opportunities to exchange experience and information with the fellow graduates as well as the experts.
