Central Induction Day

To mark the beginning of the winter semester 2019/2020, the University once again invites all new students to the Central Induction Day on 7 October 2019 and the subsequent induction week.

You will find out everything you need to know about studying here to help you get started: information on your course’s structure, module registration, examinations and important deadlines. You will also learn how best to organise your studies and what you should bear in mind when doing so. Introductory lectures by the University Library and the University Computing Centre offer you an overview of the real-world and online services available to students.

From 9am until 1pm, information desks inside the Neues Augusteum and the lecture hall building on the Augustusplatz campus will be available to answer any questions you may have about commencing your studies at Leipzig University.
