Master of Arts (M.A.)


A six semester history or cultural studies bachelor degree, a six semester social sciences bachelor degree or credentials recognised as equivalent by legal provision or by the responsible public authority, good knowledge of written and verbal communication of German, English and another modern foreign language (linguistic ability for each equivalent to Level B2 or UNIcert Level II of the AKS)


The study programme of the non-consecutive interdisciplinary European Studies programme combines contributions from the economic, political and social sciences, cultural studies and history, religion and theology, to create a contemporary and real-world picture of the different Europeanisation processes. Developments in Western and Eastern Europe and integration processes in the European Union are treated with equal importance in the modules contributed by the participating disciplines. This programme also includes periods abroad and internships.
