Art and Music
The Kustodie brings our university’s six-hundred-year history to life. The Museum of Musical Instruments is the only German-language university museum in the discipline of organology, and boasts one of the largest and oldest collections of historical instruments.
From antiquity to contemporary history: these five Leipzig University museums and collections offer many exhibits for cultural history enthusiasts.
Biology, Geology, Mineralogy and Geography
In addition to the Botanical Garden and the Zoological Teaching and Study Collection, our university has a collection of maps and two geological collections that are not only of interest for research and teaching.
The exhibits from our medical and veterinary collections are used for teaching and research purposes and can also be viewed by the general public.
