Dear new students,

Congratulations on your admission to Leipzig University. Entering university can mean a big transition giving rise to a number of questions.

We would like to support you during your first days. Therefore the university offers student orientation days geared specifically towards incoming freshmen. Please find more information on the program in our brochure “Informationen für Neuimmatrikulierte” (www.uni Through a number of lectures and presentations on 08.10.2018, you as first-year students will learn about organizing and planning your studies as well as how to register for modules and classes. In a joint lecture, both the university library and the university computer center will talk about their services. Following this lecture, you will have a chance to activate your library card and learn how to use the university’s WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network).

In order to ensure that you and the other freshmen will find room in the lecture halls, the lectures and presentations will take place in different locations and at different times.

Please find below a table containing the events which we highly recommend you attend. For safety reasons and for a smooth organization of the day, please keep to these recommended times.
