Gilad Lerman

I am deeply saddened and shocked by the news. I have very fond memories of Sayan. It was always a joy to talk with him about math and so many other topics. He was a warm, friendly, and funny person. I especially appreciated his intuitive explanations of complex ideas and the originality of his insights. He will be truly missed. My heartfelt condolences to his family and close friends.
