Dear Leipzig University staff,
With the amendment of the Protection Against Infection Act (IfSG) passed by the federal parliament and the Free State of Saxony’s use of transitional federal regulations until 2 April 2022, it became necessary to adapt the rules at our university.
The revised Hygiene and Infectious Disease Concept will enter into force on 27 March and apply until 14 April 2022.
We have also updated our FAQs for staff.
For the time being, only the German versions of the Hygiene and Infectious Disease Concept and the FAQs are online. The English translations will be updated next week.
Please take special note of the changes to the “3G rule” as well as the requirement to wear masks.
Together we will remain attentive and considerate, allowing us and our students to begin the summer semester with confidence.
