Dr Schnell will give some insights into how journals work and give tips on how to find the right journal and get your paper published.
Short Bio:
Dr Christian Schnell did a PhD in neuroscience in Goettingen, Germany, working on neuron-glia interactions. After a postdoc in the same lab, he moved to Cardiff (Wales) working on using IPSC-derived models and cell replacement therapies for Huntington’s disease. He started his editorial career at Nature Methods in 2017 and has since worked at six different journals and three publishers. Since May 2023, he is Senior Editor and Neuroscience Section Manager at PLOS Biology.
