In the seminars, every student has to give a 15 minutes talk. The oral presentation can be given freely, with PowerPoint or written on the board. A hand-out about every talk has to be submitted to Dr. Zink for uploading to this website. The hand-out can be the PowerPoint presentation or a written text. The first seminar talks will cover the topics 1-5 from the seminar topics list.

Please, see the list of seminar topics for speakers and dates. There, you can also download the hand-outs in form of PDF files.

Lab Course

Every student has to participate in the three lab course experiments. All students will be divided into three groups that are doing the experiments at different times.

  • Group 1: Mondays, 09:00 a.m.
  • Group 2: Mondays, 11:00 a.m.
  • Group 3: Thursdays, 09:00 a.m.

first week of the term.

Students must be prepared for the experiments in order to participate in the lab course. Use the links below in order to download the tutorials for the experiments in form of PDF files.

The protocols must be submitted two weeks after the experiment. You will get a mark for each protocol which will count for the final grade. Meeting point for the lab course is the "Kicker" next to room 314.
