Do you sometimes feel lost when it comes to paraphrasing and quoting the content you’ve read? If so, this workshop is for you. We’ll learn and practice some strategies to effectively restate the ideas of the original text in your own words. And we’ll go over some of the pitfalls that you should avoid when you are integrating quotations into your text. In addition, we will look at the most common citation styles so that you can make sure you are using a consistent style. You will leave the workshop with resource sheets you can refer to when you are writing—and paraphrasing and quoting—on your own. These two skills are truly an art form, but they are an art form that can be learned.
