After a huge success of the first meetup, Brain Dynamics Science Speed Dating goes into the second round!
On Tuesday, 13th June, we will meet again in Bierakademie, Sternwartenstr. 4, 04103 Leipzig. This time we have reserved part of the outside area starting at 19:00 and we count on beautiful weather! Nonetheless, we will have a rainy day option there too, so don’t be discouraged by a gray sky and stop by. We will again have two Science Speed Dating rounds lasting until 20:30, with plenty of time to chat casually in-between and afterwards. Some soft drinks and pizza will be provided too! Please note that we can’t include alcoholic beverages and there is no card payment in the bar.
Everyone is very welcome to join. Doctoral candidates, postdocs and PIs will have the opportunity to get together in a more informal setting and have an exchange about their current projects and general ideas. We hope that these meetups can help spark new ideas and future research collaborations among the Brain Dynamics members. The second Science Speed Dating Meetup is part of the series of brainstorming events that will continue on 5th July with the Brain Dynamics Pilot Project Workshop. This will be an opportunity for doctoral candidates and postdocs to work on a small scale project proposal that could be supported with consumables, a HiWi position, and/or some small equipment.
