Congratulations to Dr. Ole Bialas

On December 9th 2022, Ole Bialas - the first graduate student enrolled with Brain Dynamics, became our first member to earn a doctoral title. For his work on the doctoral thesis "An electroencephalographic investigation of the encoding of sound source elevation in the human cortex", Ole was awarded with the distinction summa cum laude. Dr. Bialas has already began the next step in his scientific career. He is a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Biomedical Engineering, University of Rochester, NY, USA. In his project, Ole is using computational models and electroencephalography (EEG) to investigate the processing of naturalistic speech. We wish Dr. Bialas all the best for his future career!
