The European funding programme Erasmus+ offers Leipzig a wide range of opportunities in worldwide higher education cooperation with Erasmus+ Partner and Programme Countries. Experience abroad for students, lecturers and university staff is at the heart of the funding programme.

LAI, Leipzig University’s international alumni network, fosters and strengthens contact between our university and its alumni from all over the world. It currently comprises more than 2300 alumni from more than 110 nations. Promoting the exchange of knowledge and experience among alumni is an important part of our networking activities.
