Abstract:
As your PhD contract is coming to an end, finding and applying for future positions can feel daunting. Where and when to start searching for positions, what is expected, and how to prepare for them. For others to not go through the same amount of suffering as I have, I would like to share my experiences. Given general PostDoc calls can be lab specific, I will cover the other end: applying for grants and fellowships. However, many of the things are general and can be applied to most postdoc positions, and even for preparing application for your PhD. The entire process resembles Squid Game, a popular Netflix series. I will share insights about each rounds of this deadly game and how to be prepared for it.
