How and where
- Make purchases at our shop at the Student Service Centre (SSZ), Goethestraße 3–5, 04109 Leipzig.
- Card payments only.
- We are unable to offer returns or refunds on purchases made in our physical shop.
Internal orders
- Internal orders for products with the Universität Leipzig branding can be placed centrally by email and charged to the appropriate cost centre.
- When the goods are ready, you can collect them from the Unishop inside the Student Service Centre at Goethestraße 3–5. Unfortunately we are unable to send goods by internal mail.

Sustainability in the Unishop
The products we offer in the Unishop are selected and manufactured with environmental and social considerations in mind. Our aim is always to minimise and, where possible, eliminate any negative impact on people and the environment. We use a range of certifications and standards to ensure that our products meet our high expectations of social and environmental sustainability:
- Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS)
This standard sets strict requirements for environmental and social conditions throughout the textile supply chain, especially when using organic raw materials. - Fair Wear
The Fair Wear Foundation works to improve conditions in the global textile industry, particularly in the Global South, and to establish fair working conditions. It focuses on the factories where the textiles are stitched. - PETA-Approved Vegan
This label is an indication of which products are animal-friendly. It is used on textiles that do not contain materials of animal origin such as fur, leather, silk and wool, or animal components such as dyes or adhesives. - OEKO-TEX Standard 100
This standard aims to reduce exposure to harmful substances. It certifies that all components such as threads, buttons and accessories have been tested for harmful substances and therefore pose no risk to health.
