Following the success of Leipzig University at the premiere of the Arqus Teaching Excellence Award, we would like to invite you to apply for the next round! Until 30 November, you can enter the race in two categories: "enabling research-based teaching" and "enabling students" for the academic year 2021/22.

The awards recognise teachers of all disciplines at one of the Arqus universities and honour examples that are considered excellent and innovative in the context of university teaching. The award winners receive €5,000 in prize money, which is to be used for the development of teaching or competence.

You can find the nomination form, detailed descriptions of the two categories as well as the application criteria on the Arqus Alliance website. Please submit your full application using the form via email by 30 November 2022.

The award will be presented at the Arqus Annual Conference 2023, which will take place at the University of Graz from 3-5 April 2023. The awardee(s) will be invited to attend the conference and give a guest lecture or workshop for Arqus Alliance teachers. Best of luck!
