Abstract
Claudia Wirts (special needs teacher) is a researcher in the special focus area of physical-motor development at the University of Leipzig and at the State Institute for Early Childhood Education and Media Competence in Munich. She completed her doctorate at the PH-Heidelberg in 2012. She worked for many years in the field of early intervention, specialising in the areas of augmentative and alternative communication, language development for children with late onset of speech, feeding therapy and interaction support in the context of autism spectrum disorders. Her scientific work focuses on interaction and inclusion research, as well as quality development in early education and early intervention.
